Seedance 2.5 supports creation with licensed film and TV IP under authorized frameworks, helping creators make safer commercial content.
Supports 3D spatial pre-visualization and camera blocking, helping creators plan character placement, camera paths, and movement direction before generation.
Build e-commerce product videos, product ads, and brand launch assets by turning product photos and brand materials into high-resolution video concepts with fine material texture and controlled lighting.
Under authorized and compliant frameworks, Seedance 2.5 supports film and TV IP creation, character remixes, and fan-style creative workflows for safer project development.
Use 30-second single generations to test cinematic composition, camera movement, scene rhythm, and story beats before storyboard pre-visualization, camera blocking, and final production.
Creation workflow
First define the shot you want to generate, then add the reference materials that shape the image, and finally confirm the resolution and duration so the 30-second video has a clear rhythm from opening to action to ending.
Step 01
Split the 30-second video into clear segments: seconds 1-10 establish the subject, environment, and opening camera; seconds 11-20 develop the action, product reveal, or character interaction; seconds 21-30 complete the climax, transition, or final frame. This helps Seedance 2.5 understand the shot rhythm and narrative focus.
Step 02
Add materials to control characters, products, style, and environment. Use up to 30 images as visual references, then add video or audio references when motion rhythm, camera movement, or sound direction matters.
Step 03
Select the aspect ratio, duration, and resolution before submitting. Seedance 2.5 supports 4K output, so match the setting to the page, ad, product visual, or social cut you plan to publish.
Step 04
Review subject placement, camera path, material detail, and ending timing. If the result misses the target, revise the exact reference, motion, or 3D spatial direction instead of adding generic quality words.
The comparison below follows the capabilities wired in this project: Seedance 2.5 is positioned for richer reference-led scenes, 30-second generation, and direct 4K output, while Seedance 2.0 and Mini remain the production choices for standard generation and lower-cost iteration.

A 30-second clip works best when the prompt is written as a timeline. These examples show the structure: establish the scene, develop the action, land the ending.
0-10s: slow dolly-in on a matte black smartwatch rotating on a stone pedestal, studio haze, rim lighting. 10-20s: macro cuts of the crown clicking, the strap flexing, water beading on the glass. 20-30s: the watch face lights up, camera pulls back to a hero shot, logo settles center frame. Sound: low ambient synth building to a single clean chime.
0-10s: a lighthouse keeper climbs a spiral staircase at dusk, handheld camera following from behind, storm building outside. 10-20s: she reaches the lamp room, waves crash against the windows, she strikes a match. 20-30s: the beam sweeps across the dark sea and catches a small fishing boat, wide aerial shot, rain easing. Sound: wind, waves, and a slow string swell.
0-10s: a model in an oversized cream coat walks through morning fog on a Paris bridge, 9:16, slow motion. 10-20s: quick cuts - the coat's texture, boots on wet cobblestone, a turn toward camera. 20-30s: she stops, wind lifts the collar, final freeze-frame with film grain. Sound: muffled city ambience with a minimal beat.

Seedance 2.5 focuses on longer continuous generation, clearer 4K detail, more reference materials, and 3D spatial planning support so creators can prepare fuller scenes with more control.
We recommend preparing high-quality character images, style references, and camera-motion examples. Clear prompts and visual direction can help prepare a steadier workflow for the Seedance 2.5 workspace.
Most generations finish within a few minutes. Longer clips, 4K output, and heavy reference stacks take more time to render, so a 30-second 4K video sits at the upper end of the range.
Text prompts, images, video clips, and audio files. A single generation can combine up to 30 images, 10 videos, and 10 audio tracks, and you can mix them freely to control style, characters, scenes, motion, and sound.
In Media mode, the Media Files bar offers three ways to add images, videos and audio:
Choose Seedance 2.5 when you need clips longer than 15 seconds, native 4K output, or a large reference stack for complex scenes. Seedance 2.0 is the faster, lower-cost choice for 4-15 second social clips, ads, and drafts.
Seedance 2.5 is available with paid plans. Check the pricing page for current plan details and included credits.
They decide what Seedance 2.5 does with the video you attach.
The switch appears once you attach a video, and it sets the matching output constraints for you: extending and editing both keep the original aspect ratio, and editing also keeps the original length.
With Smart on, the model picks the aspect ratio from your reference material instead of you naming one. Turn it off and the six fixed ratios become selectable.
In two cases it stays on and cannot be turned off, because the output ratio is fixed by the input:
Auto lets the model decide how long the video should be, and that length cannot be known before generation, so credits are held at the 30-second maximum. The number on the button is the most you can be charged, not what you will actually spend.
Once the video is generated, the charge is recalculated from its real duration and the surplus is returned to your account automatically. You do not need to request it, and nothing expires.
If you would rather see a fixed amount before you start, drag the duration slider off Auto and pick a specific length.
Plans start at $14.90/mo, billed annually.
